Our vibrant hotel seeks a vivid and detail-oriented service specialist to provide our guests with an impressive dining experience. The Food & Beverage Attendant is in charge of delivering the topmost level of service possible to customers in an effective and gracious manner at the hotel. They should be well-acquainted with hotel-brand protocols, customer expectations, and the local region.This is a full-time job with evening and morning shifts.Benefits are available, including optional medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401K, and paid time off.Responsibilities:Greet customers upon arrival to the dining areaProvide gracious and professional food and beverage service in an efficient mannerAnswer questions and create an upbeat atmosphere for guestsMaintain regular attendance in compliance with Hyatt Place standardsClear and clean tables as guests leaveRetrieve and deliver food and beverage items in a timely manner to assigned areasMaintain proper set-up of the dining areaPreparation of food according to Hyatt Place/brand standards and ensuring temperatures of hot and cold items according to health code regulationsClean and sanitize all equipment in the kitchen and dining areasSweep and mop floors in kitchen floors and vacuum the dining areaSupport other areas or roles when necessaryEnsure all food orders are put and stored in proper places with proper datingConduct oneself in a professional manner at all timesClean out all refrigerators and reach-in coolers daily; label, date and rotate itemsGraciously respond to guest concerns or requests and report the situation to the ManagerExecute daily side work with enthusiasm and motivationQualifications:Experience working in food service is preferredMust have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experienceMust have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with guests and co-workersEducational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certificationPossesses strong organizational and time management skillsAbout Company:Hyatt Place Chapel Hill takes pride in being a fun environment to work in with a great management team and staff.
