Food Service Ministry Assistant (At Ccc)

Position description : The Food Service Assistant will play an integral role in providing excellence in hospitality at Christ Community Chapel (CCC). Our food service team meets a number of church needs, from providing coffee and snacks to executing large-scale meals for several hundred people. This is a part-time, flexible position and reports to the Food Service Manager. Job Responsibilities: Work independently and in teams in a fast-paced environment. Prepare, cook, and serve for various events at CCC facilities. Maintain kitchen cleanliness and assist in monitoring inventory levels of food and kitchen supplies. Provide friendly and attentive service to all church members and guests. Step in to lead volunteer teams for larger events as needed. Think on your feet and adapt to quick change. Participate fully as a staff member at CCC. Qualifications: Be in a dynamic and growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Prior food service and/or kitchen experience. ServSafe certification preferred. Ability to work some evenings and weekends along with flexibility for other shifts. Ability to collaborate and connect relationally with people. Committed to the mission and vision of Christ Community Chapel. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout church facilities.
