Apply today to join our team and be a part of YogaSix in Monmouth County!POSITION:The Sales Associate/Front Desk (Wellness Advisor) assists the General Manager with new membership sales and the retention of current members.
The Wellness Advisor provides superior customer service while helping new and current students with class selections, answering membership questions, and transacting merchandise purchases.
We expect you to be excited about meeting and greeting our customers and be part of building a strong YogaSix community.
Daily, you are expected to make phone calls and other outreach communications to studio prospects and members.You must be able to work a minimum of 20 hours a week, 4-7 hours per shift, depending on the class schedule each day.
The work is mainly on weekends, Friday through Sunday.JOB REQUIREMENTS:Excellent sales, communication, and customer service skills.
Must be comfortable making outbound phone calls to people who have indicated interest in our yoga studio (no "cold calling") Goal-oriented with an ability to achieve sales targetsStrong customer service skills A passion for health and fitnessAbility to learn and use the Club Ready software systemMust be fluent in English and have excellent communication skills via in-person, phone, and emailMust be sales-focused and metric-drivenMust have proficient computer skillsDaily and/or occasional travel may be required within Monmouth County, NJAttend special events and training as neededRESPONSIBILITIES:Execute the full sales process of lead generation, follow-up, and closing the saleMeet and exceed sales goals as established by the General ManagerConduct studio tours with new prospects to build rapport to facilitate salesBe knowledgeable about products, programs, and pricingEmphasize and enforce the objectives of the studio as a fitness and wellness providerBook quality appointments to achieve monthly sales quotaParticipate in grassroots/community events (health fairs, grand openings, marathons, and community and hospital events) to promote the studioAssists with maintaining a clean, safe, and inviting environment and upkeep of the studioAssumes responsibility for developing selling skillsOther duties as assignedPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that an employee must meet to perform the essential functions of the job successfullyYou may be required to sit or stand for up to four hours.
