Full-time Nanny required for a lower Manhattan family with three young children (ages 6 and under). Specific duties to be negotiated with the family, but in general, you will be responsible for providing loving care to the children (including meals), tidying, cleaning and children related laundry. To be successful in this role, you will need to have at least 10-15 years of experience caring for multiple children, have excellent attention to detail and be a discreet and professional caregiver. Proven ability to juggle multiple priorities and a having team oriented mindset while remaining calm and collected is essential in this role. School drop offs, pick ups and participating in classes are expected, as well as partnering alongside other caregivers and parents. The family values someone who is warm and upbeat, enjoys being active, and takes initiative with the children and around the house. The ability to speak another language is appreciated but not required. This is a live-out position, with the flexibility, interest and ability to travel domestically and internationally as well as assist with occasional overnights/weekends as needed.
Location: Lower Manhattan, NYC
Start date: Flexible for the right candidate, ideally end of 2024, early 2025
Days/times: Monday through Friday, ~ 8am through 7 pm. Flexibility/interest for travel (including holidays), and assisting with date nights/work events would be ideal.
Children: Three children: ages 6 and under
Conditions: $35 - $40 per hour* plus unlimited monthly Metro card, public holidays, sick/personal days and two weeks paid leave per year. Family open to offsetting health insurance with a healthcare stipend for the ideal candidate.
