Available Shifts: 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Job Description: Snelling has an immediate opening for a  Gate Guard in Louisville, KY. This position will be responsible for all facility security. The Gate Guard  should be able to work independently and demonstrate a proactive, problem-solving attitude. Job duties include:
Inspect incoming and outgoing vehicles for proper load content Log incoming and outgoing deliveries. Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employee, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of building. Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences. Inspect and adjust security systems, equipment, or machinery to ensure operational use and to detect evidence of tampering. Answer telephone calls to take messages, answer questions, and provide information during non-business hours or when switchboard is closed.
