General Counsel/Head of Legal
Hybrid Role - 2-3x per week in Bay Area, CA
Meet has partnered with a rare disease biotech that is looking for a General Counsel to join their team.
Key Responsibilities
You will provide strategic legal guidance to our corporate functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
You will advise the Board of Directors and executive leadership on corporate governance affairs, SOX compliance, and SEC reporting
You will collaborate with the R&D team to protect the company's IP portfolio
You will manage the authoring and negotiation of licensing, collaboration, and research agreements.
Key Qualifications
JD + California State Bar Certified
10-15 years of experience as a corporate attorney, in-house biotech experience required
Extensive knowledge of SEC regulations and corporate governance
Startup experience preferred
