General Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and results-driven General Manager to oversee our technical operations departments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining high-performance standards, ensuring customer satisfaction, fostering employee morale, and maximizing profitability. This position offers a competitive salary along with monthly commissions based on performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and manage work orders, estimates, and invoices efficiently. Supervise, motivate, and assist operations, managers and technical staff in their daily duties. Ensure compliance with safety standards for employees, customers, and visitors. Conduct interviews, hire, and train new employees as necessary. Communicate effectively via various channels and serve as an on-call manager when required. Education/Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in associated field or higher with a minimum of two (2) years experience in heavy-duty tractor-trailer repair; or,
Associate's degree with a minimum of five (5) years experience in heavy-duty tractor-trailer repair.
Required Skills and Qualifications: Flexibility to accommodate customer and internal requests. Proficiency in Windows-based programs including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher. Continuous learning mindset to enhance product knowledge, repair processes and educate employees. Excellent communication skills with stakeholders and customers. Strong problem-solving abilities and decisive decision-making skills. Adherence to safety standards and industry repair best practices. Benefits :
