In order to maximize our opportunities, continue our significant growth trajectory, and meet the needs of our growing client list, we are hiring General Manager (GM) roles to support the following businesses: Insurance, Pension & TPAs. This posting is specifically for the GM – Pension role.
Job Summary: The General Manager of Pension will lead the Sales, Marketing, Client Services, and Product functions within the Pension segment to develop and execute strategies that drive revenue growth, enhance competitiveness, and further our overall mission to provide unique solutions that create value for our clients. This role reports to the President of the Death Audit and Locate Division and will play a pivotal role in shaping the future direction of a key growth business segment.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Develop our competitive go-to-market and customer growth strategy for the Pension Segment.Conduct research and communicate learnings about the Pension landscape to stakeholders, including Board members, executive leaders, functional leaders, and team members.Manage a cross functional team consisting of Sales, Marketing and Client Services to meet revenue and profit goals for the Pension segment.Partner with customers and internal legal team members to negotiate deals/contracts with key customers; interact directly with customers as needed.Participate in marketing activities including trade shows, conferences, and development of marketing materials.Ensure comprehensive segment industry training of sales and key stakeholders.Recruit, interview, hire, and train new staff.Provide constructive and timely performance feedback.Perform other related duties as assigned.Location and Physical Requirements: Hybrid (access to reliable internet connection required); report to Minneapolis office 1-3 days per week.Travel required 10-15% of time (customer visits, conferences, and meetings).Required Skills, Education, and Experience: 10+ years of experience working in pension or adjacent market.Understanding of the Pension industry including: Government, Corporate, Union segments.Demonstrated success working to negotiate and execute Enterprise level contracts across multiple business lines.Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead direct reports and collaborate across internal departments.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and compelling manner.Perks of working with us: Summer hours (Friday FLEX program): full time employees will be able to participate in our summer flex hours.
