Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Director of Quality to lead our organization's quality management function. The Senior Director of Quality will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to ensure the highest standards of quality across all aspects of our operations. This role requires strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of quality management principles, and a track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

Develop and execute the organization's quality strategy in alignment with business objectives.
Provide visionary leadership to the quality management team and drive a culture of quality excellence throughout the organization.

Quality Management System (QMS) Development and Implementation:

Oversee the design, development, and implementation of a robust Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Continuously evaluate and improve the effectiveness of the QMS to enhance overall quality performance.

Quality Assurance and Control:

Establish and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure products or services meet or exceed customer expectations.
Implement quality control measures to monitor and evaluate product/service quality throughout the lifecycle.

Regulatory Compliance:

Stay abreast of relevant quality regulations and standards and ensure organizational compliance.
Lead efforts to prepare for and manage regulatory inspections and audits.

Continuous Improvement:

Drive a culture of continuous improvement by implementing Lean, Six Sigma, or other quality improvement methodologies.
Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction through quality initiatives.

Supplier Quality Management:

Collaborate with procurement and supplier management teams to establish and maintain robust supplier quality management processes.
Ensure suppliers meet quality requirements and address any quality issues in a timely manner.

Customer Satisfaction:

Champion customer-centric quality initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Monitor customer feedback and implement strategies to address quality-related concerns.

Leadership and Talent Development:

Build and develop a high-performing quality management team.
Provide mentorship, coaching, and professional development opportunities to team members.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in quality management roles, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position.
Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing quality strategies and initiatives in a complex organizational environment.
Strong knowledge of quality management principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, ISO standards).
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Certified Quality Manager (CQM), Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or similar certifications preferred.
