Geospatial Systems Engineer (Arcgis)

Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and innovative Geospatial Systems Engineer with strong expertise in ArcGIS to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining geospatial systems and solutions to support our organization's goals. This position requires a blend of technical proficiency, problem-solving ability, and effective communication to deliver cutting-edge geospatial technologies and insights. This is a 3 month contract to hire and has hybrid flexibility.
\n Responsibilities:System Design & Implementation:Develop and implement geospatial systems and applications using ArcGIS and other GIS technologies.Design scalable solutions to process, analyze, and visualize geospatial data efficiently.Integrate geospatial systems with existing IT infrastructure, databases, and APIs.Data Management & Analysis:Manage, process, and analyze geospatial datasets, ensuring accuracy and completeness.Create custom scripts and tools for data transformation, automation, and advanced analysis using Python, JavaScript, or similar technologies.Application Development:Design and deploy web-based GIS applications and dashboards using ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise, and associated tools.Develop custom widgets and extensions for ArcGIS Pro or Web AppBuilder.Collaboration & Support:Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide geospatial insights and solutions.Provide technical support, training, and documentation for users of geospatial systems and tools.Innovation & Strategy:Stay up-to-date with the latest geospatial technologies, trends, and best practices.Propose and implement strategies to optimize geospatial workflows and improve decision-making processes.
