Starting Pay $17.25 - $23.41 (DOE) Qualifications SYNOPSIS OF DUTIES Ensures that the highest standard of guest service is always maintained, anticipating guest needs and requirements and promoting a congenial environment in which Casino guests feel welcome.Greet all guests, including those arriving by bus.Operates Knight Club, including enrolling new members in a warm and efficient manner, enrolling guests in an appropriate group, and preparing daily reports.Informs Casino guests of upcoming/current promotions and concert events through hourly announcements using the Casino public address system.Participates in live radio remotes on site for advertising purposes and various other forms of public speaking, as required.Assists in identifying new or regular players.Circulates around the entire casino floor, speaking with Slot Attendants and other staff to identify potential high dollar players, long term players, Club members, VIPs, or others to whom Management may want to give special attention.Maintains knowledge of all promotions, both current and pending.Exercises diplomacy, patience and control when dealing with a dissatisfied guest and refers unresolved disputes to the Supervisor or Shift Manager at the earliest opportunity.Complies with department rules, policies, and procedure.May be required to assist in other departments when necessary or for training purposes.Maintaining Title 31 Compliance accurately.Other duties as assigned.PREREQUISITES General: Must be age 21 or older.
Must qualify for Tribal Key Gaming License.
Education: High School diploma or GED preferred but not required.
Must be able to communicate in the primary language used in the workplace.
Experience: Previous Guest Services or public relations position preferred,
Skills: Must be familiar with word processing and data entry.
Must be comfortable approaching people, speaking with strangers and be able to handle conflict and problem resolution calmly and effectively during high conflict situations.
Physical: Requires standing or being on feet most of the shift; walking, bending, reaching, sitting, repetitive motions, finger dexterity.
