Cognizant Technology Solutions is looking for a Guidewire – Technical Lead to join the team of IT professionals. If you meet our background requirements and skills, here is the opportunity for you!
Responsibilities: Own the design and implementation of Guidewire solutions to meet business requirements. Coordinate the development and integration of Guidewire applications within the existing IT infrastructure. Provide technical expertise and mentorship to development teams on best practices and standards. Collaborate with business collaborators to understand their needs and translate them into technical specifications. Ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of Guidewire applications. Conduct code reviews and ensure alignment to coding standards and standard processes. Develop and maintain user documentation for Guidewire implementations. Fix and resolve sophisticated technical issues related to Guidewire applications. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Guidewire and Property & Casualty Insurance. Participate in project planning and provide estimates for development tasks. Mentor and train junior developers on Guidewire technologies and standard methodologies. Work closely with QA teams to ensure the quality and stability of Guidewire applications. Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies. Conduct comprehensive testing to identify and fix bugs, ensuring system reliability. Required Qualifications Good Functional Knowledge in BillingCenter. Good Guidewire technical skills. Good interpersonal skills to handle customer communication. Able to guide and own the offshore team. Cloud knowledge is a plus, as the customer plans to migrate the application to cloud in the future. Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for the position is between $66,896 – $132,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
