onsemi is seeking an experienced individual to lead the Automotive Power Discrete Business Unit (BU) applications team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about building strong teams, winning in the marketplace, and driving the future of automotive power electronics. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing and positioning state-of-the-art power discrete solutions for automobiles.
Responsibilities
Lead the Automotive Power Discrete BU applications team.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product development and innovation.
Engage with customers to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Support customers.
Position onsemi as a leader in automotive power electronics.
Provide technical support to customers during design phases and troubleshoot issues.
Oversee the development and release of new power discrete products.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 10+ years of experience.
Proven experience in power discrete semiconductor applications, including safe operating areas, challenges using Power FETs, IGBTs or diodes, and switching performance.
Strong leadership skills and ability to build and motivate teams.
Power management knowledge.
Highly experienced with lab equipment used in discrete products.
Passion for advancing automotive technology.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's or PhD degree.
Experience with testing for power discretes.
Familiarity with reliability standards.
Experience in power semiconductor processes.
