Position Overview: The Head of Freight Engineering is responsible for leading and developing the North American signaling engineering and estimating team. 10% travel within North America, with the potential for an occasional business trip to Europe.
The position will have significant interaction and collaboration internally with Management, Sales, Finance, Operations, and proposals/estimating teams.
What your day-to-day will look like: We are seeking someone with combined experience and skills working on sophisticated projects in the rail industry. Our ideal candidate is someone with an Engineering and Business background who has validated experience generating financial analyses and making the decisions on the allocation of resources throughout the projects.
Outstanding time management skills are vital in this role as it is necessary for balancing multiple regional requests simultaneously.
Your three primary responsibilities are the following:

The base salary range for this position in Louisville, KY is $120,300 - $162,400. The salary may be higher or lower depending on the budget and the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications. The annual incentive target is 10% of the base salary.
