Heavy Equipment Operator

Position Overview: The Heavy Equipment Operator will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy equipment such as a backhoe, skid steer loader, and excavator for various construction and utility projects. This position requires strong attention to safety guidelines and OSHA regulations.
Key Responsibilities: Operate heavy machinery such as backhoe, skid steer loader, and excavator for various construction and utility projects. Follow safety guidelines and OSHA regulations. Keep up with preventive maintenance of heavy equipment. Carry out excavation, grading, loading and unloading of sand, dirt, rock, and earth. Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor. Qualifications: DC Operator License  Experience operating heavy equipment such as backhoe, skid steer loader, and excavator. Knowledge of OSHA regulations. Ability to safely operate and maintain heavy machinery. Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus. Valid drivers license and clean driving record. Knowledge of utilities a plus. DC Operator and Rubber Tire experience a plus. Benefits Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
