The University of Iowa Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center and the Division of Hematology, Oncology and Blood & Marrow Transplantation are seeking multiple BC/BE hematologists with a focus on adult benign hematology or benign and malignant hematology to join their faculty team in a growing practice. These positions will be at the rank of Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Full Professor, on the tenure or clinical (non-tenure) track, depending on qualifications. Salary is based on experience and qualifications. Leadership positions in disease specific areas or in the Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center are available.
Candidates must have an MD degree or equivalent and evidence of a commitment to teaching, clinical or basic research and patient care experience in hematology. Completion of an ACGME-accredited Residency Program is required.
The Carver College of Medicine is part of a major research university and ranks 19th among public universities in NIH research funding. The Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center is a National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer center that collaborates closely with the College and the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
