Hospice Aide (Cna)

Seeking Caring PRN Hospice Aide (CNA) to join our Compassionate Team! The Carpenter House in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a Full-Time and PRN Hospice Aide CNA to join our team and become part of our center of excellence as we provide hospice care to our patients and their loved ones.

Job Duties: Provides assistance with mobility, transferring, walking, grooming, bathing, dressing, or undressing, eating and toiletingAssists with the safe use of a walker or wheelchair as taught and supervised by the nurse or physical therapist for a specific patientPromotes personal safety and a safe environment for clients by observing infection control practices, following our guidelines, and reporting unsafe situations to your supervisorReports any change in the patient's mental or physical condition or home situation to the Registered Nurse and members of the interdisciplinary teamQualifications: Minimum of 18 years oldCompleted High School or earned Equivalency DiplomaCurrent CNA certification in the State of Louisiana requiredMinimum of six (6) months' work experience in a direct care settingCPR CertifiedPart-Time Benefits: Excellent payGreat working environmentAdvancement opportunitiesEmployee referral programContinue education opportunitiesMileage reimbursement (reflective of fluctuating fuel prices)Exceptional People providing Exceptional Care.
