Description What we are hiring for:
Our Hostesses must be aspire to be the quarterbacks of our Front of House.
They are responsible for the traditional hostess features (seating, wait list management & putting finishing touches on tables before allowing guests to sit), along with the more challenging job of educating our Customers on how to use the new "Order from your phone" system for placing their orders.
Hostesses will also be responsible for taking orders from those people who are unwilling or unable to use our smartphone based ordering system.
Our Customers:
We expect that our older Customers will be less willing to use the new system, however I believe that as time goes on, our Customers will be more and more accustomed to the new style.
Our Hostesses will act as the problem solver for food based issues, service issues, or technological issues.
Our Managers currently have a plethora of responsibilities and I do not want to strain the current system of operations by thrusting the responsibilities of In House Customer Care on them additionally.
A steady personality is required for this job as you will be the concierge between FOH and BOH, as well as making sure our Guests are having the desired dining experience.

We recently remodeled our exterior, and our interior was remodeled in 2010 with a light touch up in 2021.
It's a beautiful, historic, & unique place.
