Overall Scope and Responsibility: Ensure that all guest rooms and bathrooms are cleaned to the company standards in both quality and quantity.
Essential Duties: Provide maid service for guest rooms and meet cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Replace any unused amenities and report any maintenance concerns. Assist Lobby Attendant in delivering guest requests. Provide maid service by doing a thought out cleaning, vacuum, undusted, replenishing amenities, linens, and supplies and filling ice bucket as preferred by guest. Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths, mops, sponges, brushes, and/or cleaning agents. Assist PM attendants by stripping and making beds, changing bed linens, dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves in team effort. Empty trash. Sign for room keys and restock heavy cart. Visually inspect room for cleanliness and appearance and signify cleaning completion Assist Lobby Attendant in public areas as needed. Attend all mandatory meetings Report all suspicious persons or activities, hazardous conditions, etc.
to Safety/Security Department Provide general public assistance, instruction and/or guidance for guests and employee safety in the event of an emergency Complete all other duties as assigned by supervisor to include cross training Keep work area neat and organized Job Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Must be able to carry 25 lbs. Commitment to superior customer service and excellent customer service skills. Strong initiative and self-motivation. Fluency in job related English both verbal and non-verbal.
An appreciation and respect for the diversity of all individuals in the workplace. Ability to handle pressure and work in a fast paced environment. Minimum one year experience within housekeeping dept. Must be able to work days, evenings, and weekends as necessary.
