Look no further as we currently have an opening for a Housekeeping Supervisor to manage our wonderful housekeeping department! Position is Monday-Friday. What You'll Do: Housekeeping SupervisorOversee routine housekeeping duties, ensuring the team is completing daily assignment to include common areas, resident apartments, and laundry, as necessary to ensure adequate housekeeping coverageEnsure the housekeeping team perform their assigned duties effectively and efficiently. Manage the schedule and assign daily tasks to staffResponsible for hiring, training, evaluating and performance management of housekeeping staffResponsible for maintaining department with budgetary guidelines and ensure department goals and milestones are met adhering to department budgetsResolve escalating issues arising from operations and that require coordination with other departmentsResponsible for ensuring that resident apartments are maintained in a clean and sanitary manner including carpet vacuumed; furniture and surfaces dusted; floors mopped; bathroom sink, tub/shower, toilet, and all surfaces cleaned; kitchen counters, sinks and appliances cleaned; and apartment generally tidied, on a weekly basis. Responsible for ensuring that all community common areas are maintained in a clean and sanitary manner including halls, living room, lobby, dining rooms, elevators, public restrooms, activity areas, wellness center and other sitting areas, on a daily basis.Ensure resident laundry services are done efficiently and effectively; responsible for maintaining laundry supplies and laundry rooms in neat and clean condition.Responsible for ensuring all housekeeping supplies are maintained at an adequate supply levelWork with the Director of Engineering to ensure that the community is in compliance with state and local regulatory agency guidelinesConduct weekly walkthrough inspections of apartment and common areas to ensure services performed are meeting or exceeding standards and makes recommendations for improvements to the Director of EngineeringMaintain record of inspections What We're Looking For: Housekeeping SupervisorPrevious housekeeping experience in senior living, hotel or a hospitality setting1-3 years of previous supervisory experienceMust possess strong customer service and interpersonal communication skillsMust be detail oriented and possess strong organizational skillsAbility to read, comprehend, write, and speak English to interpret written instructions, and to communicate effectively with residents, families, and other team membersProficiency in basis computer skills including MS OfficePrevious experience using TELS a plusMust meet all health-related requirements pertaining to state licensureWhat We Offer:Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance (Full-Time)Retirement Plan Contribution MatchVacation and Sick TimePaid HolidaysTeam Member MealsAnd more!
