Description Capitol Broadcasting Company is looking to add a HR Business Partner and Compensation Specialist to our Human Resources Team.In this position you have the unique opportunity to set the strategy and structure of our compensation structures and employee relations for some of the most recognizable brands in the Triangle: WRAL-TV, FOX-50, Durham Bulls, WRAL-FM and more!
This is a full-time, in-person role based in Raleigh, NC that reports to the Vice President of Human Resources.
YOU MIGHT BE A FIT IF YOU… Thrive in a fast paced environmentLove making things easier for othersTake pride in exceptional customer service Your friends invite you over to complete hard to do puzzlesYou add something to your to-do list just to check it offSpecialize in building strong, mutually beneficial business relationshipsSet out to learn something new todayWork hard, think fast and have funESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain and monitor the HR information systems structures, processes, and automation in partnership with Finance.Design, develop, implement, and maintain a compensation structure for the organization.Partner with leadership and other HR team members to develop HR Standards of Practice.Partner with HR team members to develop robust job descriptions and salary ranges.Create and run regular people data reports for presentation to the business and leadership.Partner with other team members on benefits programs and ensuring automation.QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Strong written and verbal communication skills; thorough understanding of HR Laws, systems and practices; Proficiency of Microsoft Suite, including Word and Excel; Strong analytical and decision-making skillsSHRM or HRCI certification required.Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field5 or more years of experience in human resources, specifically in Compensation and Employee Relations.A pre-employment drug screening is required.EOE, M/F.All Capitol Broadcasting Company properties are tobacco free.Capitol Broadcasting Company participates in E-Verify.
