As an HR Generalist, you will play a key role in supporting HR functions and ensuring the smooth operation of all human resources processes. With 3-5 years of general HR experience, you will bring expertise in benefits administration, regulatory compliance, policy development, and employee relations. This position requires a solid understanding of HR best practices, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage all aspects of benefits administration, including running orientations, facilitating open enrollment, and providing guidance to employees on benefit options.
· Ensure compliance with relevant HR laws and regulations, including but not limited to FMLA, ADA, and EEOC requirements.
· Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with company goals and regulatory standards.
· Provide excellent customer service to employees, addressing inquiries and concerns related to HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
· Collaborate with hiring managers to support recruitment efforts, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination.
· Assist with onboarding and orientation processes for new hires, ensuring a positive and informative experience.
· Utilize HRIS (UGK preferred) to maintain accurate employee records and generate reports as needed.
· Support learning and development initiatives, including training program coordination and employee skills development. Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
· 3-5 years of experience in HR, with specific experience in benefits administration, regulatory compliance, and policy development.
· Knowledge of HRIS systems, with experience using UGK (or similar HR software) preferred.
· Strong understanding of HR laws and regulations, particularly within the government contracting industry.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
