Join our dynamic team as a Human Resources (HR) Talent Partner and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Operations and Management (O&M) Business Unit! In this business partner role, you'll be instrumental in supporting, developing, and organizing top talent to align with our ambitious goals and broader company initiatives. Here, you'll build strong partnerships within the O&M group, delivering top-notch talent guidance, processes, and tools to meet employee and business needs. You'll be the go-to consultant for management on HR issues, acting as an employee champion and change agent.You'll proactively communicate with our HR department and business management to deliver integrated solutions that support our organization's goals. Your understanding of the business unit's objectives, financial position, and competition will be key. Here's what you'll do:Analyze trends and metrics with the HR team to develop innovative solutions, programs, and policies.Collaborate with O&M leaders to drive talent initiatives and onboard new staff for exciting new projects.Provide HR guidance to line management and connect with key stakeholders.Resolve complex employee relations issues with thorough and objective investigations.Ensure legal compliance and partner with the legal department as needed.Guide performance management through coaching, counseling, and career development.Improve work relationships to boost morale, productivity, and retention.Offer HR policy guidance and support business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning.Identify training needs and provide executive coaching.This is the perfect opportunity if you're ready to be inspired and work with a fantastic team! What You Need to Succeed:Bachelor's degree required.7+ years in HR, in alignment with generalist or business partner responsibilitiesStrong employee relations experienceStrong communication and relationship-building skills.Experience working with state and local employment laws preferred.Merger and acquisition and union relations experience is a plus.PHR or SPHR preferred.Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.

This role has the option for remote work, and the anticipated pay range is flexible, depending on factors such as the employee's primary work location, skills, experience, and education. The following examples illustrate how the pay range for the same role can vary based on different locations. Portland, ME: $$86,000 - $110,000 Andover, MA: $100,000 - $127,000 This position's anticipated pay range is provided above; final exempt salary will be dependent on experience level as well as considering a % based geographic differential based on where the final candidate will be working. Geographic differentials are used to recognize and reflect cost of labor differences between geographic markets. \nBenefits & Wellbeing Retirement Savings: • 401(k) Pre-tax or Roth Contributions: Company will match equal to 100% of the first 3% of salary contributed, All employees are eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan and are 100% vested in the value of own contributions and any employer matching contributions.
Time away from work: • Vacation time is provided to full and part-time regular employees. Vacation is accrued, based on number of hours worked per week as well as prior years of experience.
• Woodard & Curran offers paid sick time to eligible employees who are absent due to their own non-work related, illness, injury, or medical procedure.
• Woodard & Curran provides up to 80 hours of Paid Parental Leave for child bonding in a 12-month period.
• Company-paid short- and long-term disability insurance from Sun Life to assist with replacing a portion of your income in the event of non-job-related illness or injury. Eligible employees are automatically enrolled and eligible immediately.
