Location: Based at one of our four Northern Nevada operations.
Education: A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required; a focus in human resources is preferred.
Experience: Over 5 years of comprehensive Human Resources experience, ideally as an HR Generalist or Business Partner.
Preferred: 2 years in labor relations and experience in mining, construction, utilities, or heavy industry.
HR Expertise: Solid understanding of HR responsibilities and functions, with the capability to implement and manage company HR policies and strategies.
Proven ability to positively influence business outcomes by collaborating with management and anticipating industry needs, while recommending effective HR solutions.
Knowledge and Skills: Familiarity with industry standards and procedures relevant to human resource management is preferred.
Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex concepts in a clear and approachable manner.
Strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient with MS Office Suite and related systems.
Safety Record: A proven record of maintaining safety in the workplace is required.
Flexibility: Ability to work staggered hours to support a 24/7 fast-paced operations environment.
