Job Summary: The Human Resources Coordinator works under the direction of the Regional Human Resources Manager. This position will be responsible for the full cycle of onboarding of field personnel and provide administrative support for day-to-day operations. This includes record-keeping, profile maintenance and HRIS entry in JDE.
Work Schedule The work schedule for this position is 7:00am - 4:00pm, Monday through Friday.
Primary Job Function: Process all new hires through the life cycle of onboarding.Ensure all new hires have completed the physical questionnaire and are released to work for the company.Assist the OQ & Training Department with PEC Test validation and PEC card lookup.Utilize HRIS system to accurately enter data in JDE and offer assistance to applicants to complete their portion of the onboarding process in Click Boarding.Assist in the process of tracking and maintaining driver qualification files per Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR) and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations for DOT drivers.I9 E-Verify processing, review and process all identifications for E-Verify to determine eligibility to work in the US.Manage incoming and outgoing DOT Test Result History Verifications, tracking and uploading documents.Assist or interface with other support functions and general office maintenance including answering telephones, data entry, tracking of information, ordering supplies, shipping, and receiving, and receiving visitors.Maintain filing systems and execute proper record keeping practices in HRIS and SharePoint to ensure the confidentiality of HR information.Provide assistance to the Human Resources team in the application of HR policies and programs.Conducts audits of New Hire documentation and other recordkeeping.Performs administrative support duties, supporting managers and projects as requested.Other ad-hoc projects as assigned by the HR Managers.Support a positive culture within the organization. Experience: Previous work experience in the Oil & Gas Industry.Bi-lingual in Spanish highly preferred.Minimum of 1-year Human Resources or other office/administrative experience required.Previous experience working in an office or professional environment preferred. Education/Training: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Competencies: Excellent customer service skills.Proficient in Microsoft products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.Ability to work with executive and high-level management and administrative employees.Exercise sound judgment, well organized, have excellent oral and written communications skills, work well under pressure, take the initiative, flexible and cooperative.Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.Accuracy, timeliness, tact, problem-solving skills, detail-oriented and ability to work effectively with both employees and managers.Respect for confidentiality concerning customer information and company records.Convey a positive and professional image to customers and peers.Other Criteria: Complies with Strike's policies and procedures.Complies with Strike's Drug & Alcohol Policy maintaining favorable drug testing results throughout employment.Performs job safely with respect to others, property, and individual safety.Works effectively with others to encourage teamwork and productivity.Authorized to work in the United States
