Duties
Serves as a Human Resources Data Analyst with responsibility for providing subject matter expertise and recommendations for Human Resources activities of Marine Corps Nonappropriated Fund (NAF).
Performs a variety of analytical, planning, evaluative, and advisory work.
Develops statistical models, statistical analysis, data analytics, data modeling, data visualization and dashboards, workforce metrics, Human Resources metrics, and other reporting.
Evaluates results and consults with subject matter experts to identify significant factors, relationships, and trends to produce accurate and meaningful data.
Exercises analytical ability, judgment, and discretion.
Provides data visualization, workforce metrics, reports, and analysis to broaden senior leadership and management's understanding of the workforce and support USMC NAF data-driven decision-making processes and innovation within the organization.
Develops and presents briefings clearly communicating conclusions to a diverse audience.
Effectively develops written communications, such as policies, memos, reports, and fact sheets.
Assists in development of required correspondence/documents.
Assists Human Resources Directorate in development and revision of Human Resources policy and guidance/training materials.
Works under general supervision of the Employee Relations Supervisor and may receive assignments in form of overall program objectives.
Streamline internal processes using Microsoft 365 to include SharePoint Online to reduce the need for manual tasks and increase process efficiencies.
Maintain effective working relationships and collaborate with others to meet both internal and external requirements.
May represent component with Department of the Navy and Department of Defense.
Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy.
Assists customers and communicates positively in a friendly manner.
Takes action to solve problems quickly.
Alerts the higher-level supervisor or proper point of contact for help when problems arise.
Adheres to safety regulations and standards.
Promptly reports any observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupational illness, and/or property damage resulting from workplace mishaps to the immediate supervisor.
Adheres to established standards of actively supporting the principles of the EEO program and prevention of sexual harassment.
Performs other duties as assigned.
This is a white-collar position where occasional lifting up to 20 lbs.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field appropriate to the work of position AND three years of experience that demonstrates possession of knowledge, skill, and mastery of abilities in analytics and metrics.
Must have expert knowledge of Microsoft 365, Excel, and SharePoint Online, OR an appropriate combination of education and experience that demonstrates possession of knowledge and skill equivalent to that gained in the above Skilled in effective written and oral communication, and the ability to conduct presentations.
