Insight Global is seeking an experienced and dynamic Human Resources Director to lead the HR department at a leading higher education vocational school.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall educational and business strategy, including payroll and benefit operations.
This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills and a deep understanding of HR best practices in an educational setting.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Maintain pay plan and benefits program.
- Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management, particularly in an educational context.

Required Skills & Experience
- Proven working experience as HR Director or other senior HR roles, preferably in an educational setting.
- Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics.
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases; Experience with Paylocity and/or Workday preferred
- Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills;
- Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the school.
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- BS/MS degree in Human Resources or related field (Masters degree preferred).
- Experience in higher education or vocational training institutions.
- Specific certifications such as SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP.
