Link's 10-week paid summer internship program is designed to help students gain valuable experience and develop business skills while learning the basics of commercial and industrial real estate.
We offer internships in 15 departments including Capital Markets, Construction, Development, Financial Planning & Analysis, Investments, IT, Leasing, Property Management, Marketing, Human Resources and more.
Link is looking for actively enrolled juniors (rising seniors) who would be interested in a real estate internship on our human resources team this upcoming summer.
The Summer intern will have the have exposure to several human resource functions, acting in a broad HR generalist capacity, supporting various client groups and employees.
Learning from and supporting functional experts on the business partner, HR operations and analytics, talent management and talent acquisition teams.
You will have exposure to teams across the Link platform and properties across the industrial spectrum.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING: Contribute to projects working within the HR functions and teams including HR business partner, HR operations, HR technology, HR analytics, talent management and talent acquisition Assist in managing people metrics Support company policies, program administration, to ensure policies and procedures are handled consistently, effectively, and in a timely manner.
Confirm all Link activities follow all state and federal employment laws and regulation (e.g., FMLA, ADA, EEO and FLSA) Understand the business operations from a strategic and tactical perspective.
Assist with the diagnosis of organizational issues, develop solutions and recommend action plans.
Conduct research and analysis across topics such as industry trends, evolving technologies, best practices and HR processes that impact the employee experience.
Assist in data collection, metrics, analysis and insight development to drive decision-making of key business units and human resource functions.
Ability to manage multiple projects with overlapping tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
Demonstrate strong ability to build relationships internally and collaborate cross-functionally Assist in communications, campaigns, and outreach efforts for initiatives to business leaders and teams.
Ability to handle confidential information and provide administrative support to the team.
Participate in ad-hoc projects as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS: Current junior (rising senior) undergraduate student at an accredited four-year institution Pursuing a degree in human resources, organizational behavior, management, leadership development, business analytics, or related field Proficiency in using data to identify program successes or opportunities and make strategic decisions Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment Resilience and adaptability to solve problems Proven leadership skills Professional presence and demeanor working with colleagues and management.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent oral and written communication skills since interaction with senior level management will be required Must be actively enrolled for consideration of internship
$30/hour represents the presently anticipated base compensation pay range for this position at Link.
Actual pay may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.
