Aliquippa Pennsylvania, located in Beaver County Southwestern PA, is our pilot for implementing hyper-local, cost-effective, and environmentally sustainable hydroponic produce year-round. GetBlok Farms, a wholly-owned subsidiary of GetBlok.io, pursues the mission to introduce high quality and reliable source of nutrition for local communities.
Job Description
Compensation: $35,000/year Full-Time
Responsibilities:
Food safety is paramount to our business and will be of the utmost importance. You will help to foster a culture that puts our customer's safety as a top priority. You will adopt and comply with all food safety requirements.
Operate system machinery in a safe and efficient manner
Cross-train and be able to manage all workflow processes from seeding, transplanting, harvesting, to packaging
Consistently follow PPE requirements for food and chemical safety
Able to read and follow standard operating procedures
Ability to work unsupervised for short periods of time
Able to work at an efficient speed while maintaining quality of the product
Attention to detail
Good communication skills and willingness to raise issues with supervisors and management
General clean up
Other duties as assigned.

Reliable and consistent
Agility, the ability to change tasks as needed based on the needs of the system
Ability to lift 50 lbs. intermittently
Able to work effectively in a range of temperatures (warm clothing provided when needed)
A personality that helps to foster an enjoyable and productive work environment
Qualifications
Candidate must have minimum high school diploma/GED; or equivalent experience in relevant field.
All candidates must undergo a successful background investigation and drug-screening.
