We are currently seeking an experienced Patent Agent with a focus on life sciences to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:Prepare and prosecute patent applications in the life sciences field.Collaborate with inventors and stakeholders to understand technologies and prepare detailed patent applications.Respond to office actions and provide persuasive arguments to secure patent rights.Qualifications:PhD (or MD) in organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, or a related field.2+ years of experience as a patent agent in life sciences.USPTO registration number is required.Strong academic credentials with excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.Compensation and Benefits:Salary range: $112,500 - $250,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and location.Comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare, life insurance, Health Savings Accounts, Flexible Spending Accounts, and wellbeing programs.Discretionary performance-based bonus opportunities.To Apply:Candidates must complete our online application and submit a cover letter, resume, full academic transcripts (undergraduate and graduate), and two writing samples (1. an application drafted by the candidate, and 2. an office action response with persuasive argument drafted by the candidate).
