As the Informatics Specialist, you will be responsible for directing the use of the electronic health record documentation system for the purpose of streamlining processes and improving healthcare through the use of analytical tools at the point of care.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure training needs are met upon hire and throughout employee life cycle, providing individualized instruction as necessary.
Perform ongoing evaluations of Point Click Care to identify opportunities for system improvement.
Direct regular interdisciplinary Enhancement Meetings.
Coordinate enhancements to the company's PCC Database.
Ensure that all changes made to the PCC Database are communicated effectively.
Perform all PCC Audits as requested or scheduled.
Perform ongoing evaluations of the effectiveness of PCC Training.
Follow up on all concerns identified in the use of the PCC Database with the appropriate departments.
Maintain accurate and organized electronic files of all PCC projects.
REQUIREMENTS:
Valid and active Pennsylvania RN license
Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records especially Point Click Care
Strong understanding of HIPAA Privacy and Security
Leadership experience and the ability to identify issues and propose solutions
