Position: Information Support Coordinator
Location: Bloomfield Hills, MI Plunkett Cooney, one of the largest and most accomplished law firms in the Midwest, is seeking an Information Support Coordinator. The Information Support Coordinator will be responsible for daily support activities. The overall goal is to provide support to firm staff members, resolve technical issues and any follow up needed while providing the best customer service of the firm.
This position requires exceptional client service, independence, and organizational skills. The Information Systems Coordinator provides the firm's end-users with excellent support and alleviates/resolves any IT issue. This position requires a candidate with strong technical problem-solving skills, communication skills, and will be prompt/or know the importance of communicating resolutions or providing estimated times of resolutions.
Essential Job Duties:
Provide in-person and virtual support to all firm wide users. Create, track, and prioritize support tickets by way of firm's helpdesk ticketing system. Ensure timely resolutions or reported issues while maintaining accurate records. Assists users with resetting passwords, unlocking accounts, and managing user accounts in accordance with firm policies and security protocols. Support common firm software applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and web browsers (Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge). Troubleshoot hardware issues, perform basic repairs or replacements, and connect peripherals to computer systems. Ability to troubleshoot network connectivity issues and assist users with configuring network settings. Administration of enterprise mail application, including add/remove users and group, and configure permissions. Take ownership of tasks and follow-us to ensure complete resolution and customer service. Take personal interest in and responsible for quality of work they perform or are associated with. Learn new technologies, applications and software's through initiatives, online materials, or training guides. Articulate technical information clearly and simply to non-technical personnel. Thorough understanding of computer software including word processing and desktop publishing, databases and spreadsheets. Position will be a hybrid (in office and remote work arrangement).
Qualifications:
Preferred Bachelor's or Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience. Minimum 4 years of Help Desk Support experience Previous experience working in a law firm environment a plus Experience in legal specific applications a plus, Document Management, document creation, forms/templates, etc. At least 4 years' experience in Networking technologies. At least 4 years' experience in Microsoft Office At least 4 years' experience in Server Hardware support Proficient knowledge of iOS and Android platforms a plus At least one certification in one of the following: MCITP, MCP, CCNA/CCDA/CCNP, Project+, Network+, Apple a plus Please follow the link for more information to apply.
