Job Summary (Basic Functions): Uniseal – an LG Chem Company is seeking an Information Systems Manager. This position is responsible for all computer systems, software packages, and telecommunications at Uniseal. The Information Systems Manager will manage the information technology department, implement and maintain policies and goals that support the organization's IT needs, and ensure proper functioning of the information processing system and oversees necessary upgrades. The role will also ensure computer equipment, hardware, and software are updated to meet organizational needs, Additionally, they are responsible for any other tasks deemed necessary by the Director of Manufacturing.
What You'll Be Doing
Essential Functions (include but are not limited to):
Responsible for managing IT Department including prioritizing projects, tasks, and people.
Responsible for maintaining SCADA (Data Acquisition) system.
Responsible for maintaining servers and administration of users and security groups in an Active Directory domain environment.
Responsible for maintaining servers and coordinating updates from connected overseas systems.
Must be available for occasional after hours support & providing support for users in multiple time zones.
Serve as the Lead IT Person in the event of Disaster Recovery concerning IT equipment and security breaches.
System Administrator - ensure the integrity and security of all computer systems
and data at Uniseal, including all data backup procedures.
Maintain security best practices including Firewall, VPN, Key Fob system, security cameras, IT hardware, and remote connectivity administration.
Provide, delegate, or outsource EDI and barcode labelling.
Uphold ISO-14001 program and fulfil any specified responsibilities within
Understands customer requirements and customer specific requirements and how to disseminate through the organization.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: What We're Looking For
Competencies/Desired Skills:
Understanding MS Product 365, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
Cisco, HP, or other networking certifications are a plus.
Experience with AD DNS, DHCP, Group Policy Management, Hyper-V Virtualization, Php & MySQL.
Familiarity with Aruba, VMWare, Virtual controllers, VLAN's, & VLAN Routing.
Must be skilled in software programming or able to perform programming, delegate, or outsource as required.
Education:Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent required.
Requirements:5+ years in Information Systems required. Previous IT management experience preferred. Prior experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
