The Innovation Lab Assistant will support the STEM departments and the work of the Coordinator of STEM Initiatives.
The Assistant will monitor use of the Innovation Lab, participate, support, and/or plan events to be held in the Innovation Lab, and generally support and promote programs and courses in STEM areas (science, technology, engineering, and math).
The position will provide opportunities to learn new skills (such as soldering, computer-aided design, coding, 3-D printing, laser cutting) and to assist students in workshops that are designed to teach these skills to a wide audience.
JOB DUTIES & REPSONSIBILITIESTrack and monitor the use of Innovation LabAssist with planning, development, and hosting Innovation Lab workshops and outreach eventsMaintain Innovation Lab spaces and perform inventory management of supplies and equipmentMeet and support CCA students interested in STEM.
