Job Summary and Qualifications
The Inpatient Rehab Registered Nurse will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for the rehab patient.
You will perform a complete and accurate nursing assessment.
You will plan comprehensive nursing care for the rehab patient according to written hospital standards and physician orders.
You will perform and legibly document nursing care to the rehab patient in compliance with written physician orders.
You will evaluate patient care outcomes in an appropriate and timely manner.
Experience:
1-3 years' experience as a staff nurse: Required
Education:
Associate Degree, or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)
License/Certification:
Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Texas; If the compact license, Texas license must be obtained within 90 days of hire: Required
Current certification from the American Heart Association as a BLS Health Care provider: Required
Certification in Rehabilitation Nursing (CRRN): Preferred
