? Your Role at Raising Canes:The Instructional Designer is responsible for designing, developing and maintaining learning and development documentation to support compliance and crew standards programs, initiatives and projects.
This role will be responsible for developing engaging and effective learning tools for a broad range of audiences, including front-line crewmembers, managers and those working at our Restaurant Support Office.
Responsibilities:
Your Impact and Responsibilities: Applies instructional design techniques to develop best in class training materialsDefines learning objectives based on requirements and using sound instructional design expertiseDevelops new learning courseware using blended learning solutions with a creative approach to designEstablishes and executes project plans to successfully deliver projects on-time and within budgetCollaborates with subject matter experts to ensure quality and accuracy of contentMaintains and updates existing contentActs as internal consultant by analyzing and recommending solutions to training issues relating to assigned program or section areaServes as an innovative expert for training systems and tools, staying current of trends and providing direction and assistance on the development of new and effective ways to train
Qualifications:
Requirements for Success: 4+ years of experience in instructional design or equivalentHighly knowledgeable of instructional design standards and adult learning principlesAble to match effective learning methodologies with specific training needs and adapt style and presentation based on the learnerAble to develop and manage plans and timelines for both simple and complex projectsOrganized and able to manage multiple priorities that may be constantly changingSelf-driven, flexible, and energetic with strong analytical, written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detail, including editing and proofreading skillsAble to work effectively and efficiently both independently and collaborativelySkilled in the following: Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and OutlookArticulate Storyline 3, Storyline 360 and RiseGraphic design; Photoshop and Illustrator preferredInDesign
