About This Opportunity Are you ready to transform education and inspire instructional leaders? Join us as an Instructional Leadership Coach (ILC)! In this critical role, you'll drive the development of instructional leaders across the Los Angeles Unified School District, helping to shape teacher practices and promote equitable math instruction through the use of Illustrative Mathematics (IM). You'll be at the heart of enhancing instructional support systems, ensuring professional learning is impactful, coherent, and culturally responsive.

If you excel at building strong relationships with school-based instructional leaders, are passionate about professional learning, and possess deep knowledge of standards-aligned and culturally responsive instruction, this role is designed for you! Using the IM curriculum to elevate instructional practices by leveraging its problem-based learning approach to develop students' conceptual understanding and procedural fluency? Are you passionate about: Building strong, trusting relationships with school leaders and instructional leadership teams to support them through continuous improvement cycles and the design of professional learning experiences? Supporting teachers and instructional leaders in implementing the IM curriculum effectively? Do you enjoy coaching educators to enhance their teaching practices, tackle challenges, and inspire a love for learning in their students? Racial equity and deepening your own knowledge and skills through ongoing development and feedback? Your familiarity with IM will be a huge asset as we guide schools through its effective implementation!

Proven Experience and Skills: You bring over 7 years of experience across several key areas, including:

Masterful Adult Facilitation: You know how to lead engaging, impactful professional development sessions that inspire educators and foster a growth mindset.
