Instructional Systems Designer

Overview The Instructional Systems Designers (ISDs) support instructional systems design throughout the Product Lifecycle Process, which incorporates the ADDIE methodology across all divisions of ST. This is a hybrid position with occasional visits to the DC area.  Minimum Requirements Current Personnel (Security) Clearance/ Eligibility (PCL) at the Top Secret level with SCI security clearance/eligibility A Master's degree in Instructional Systems Design or Adult Education from an accredited university and at least three (3) years of experience designing and developing instructor-led courses, virtual instructor-led courses, self-paced eLearning courses, and performance support tools OR In lieu of a Master's degree, a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university and at least eight (8) years of experience designing and developing instructor-led courses, virtual instructor-led courses, self-paced eLearning courses, and performance support tools Minimum of three (3) years of experience applying the ADDIE methodology and following a system process for assessment and development of formal training solutions, including, but not limited do, designing courses or curriculums and creating education/training material, such as teaching manuals, student guides, job aids, learning activities, skills assessments, and quizzing/testing mechanisms Minimum of three (3) years of experience working in close collaboration with customers to turn training requirements needs and expectations into comprehensive and well-articulated distance-delivered courses Minimum of three (3) years of experience writing, editing, and reviewing a wide range of courseware, documents, and publications Minimum of three (3) years of experience leading instructional development projects Preferred Requirements Five (5) or more years of experience applying the ADDIE methodology in Instructional Systems Design and developing online, instructor-led, or instructor-facilitated courses Five (5) or more years of experience working in close collaboration with customers to turn training requirements needs and expectations into comprehensive and well-articulated distance-delivered courses Five (5) or more years of experience writing, editing, and reviewing a wide range of courseware, documents, and publications EE0/Veteran/Disabled
