The Internal Communications Specialist is responsible for creating and delivering compelling content that engages team members and strengthens Aprio's culture. This role combines creativity and communications expertise in working closely with key stakeholders and leaders to ensure internal communication is clear, consistent, and aligned with firm goals and values. The specialist will develop original content that will keep team members informed and drive growth by developing and executing communications strategies for various initiatives across the organization. This role is crucial in shaping our culture and engagement through impactful communication.
\n Position Responsibilities:Actively collaborate across teams to create brand-aligned materials that educate and inspire our diverse internal audience, across our multi-channel landscape.Serve as the primary point of contact for managing and overseeing our internal email communications platform, ensuring effective and consistent internal communication across Aprio.Communicate effectively with all levels of the firm through excellent written and verbal skills.Assist with the development and implementation of internal communications plans that combine strategic thinking with a localized, audience-specific approach.Manage, in partnership with the broader communications team, a content and editorial calendar to streamline communications across all channels.Create and deliver internal communications content, including email updates, scripts, newsletters, intranet content, videos, and presentations.Work with key organizational stakeholders to ensure all internal communication is clear, consistent, and aligned with the company's goals and values.Monitor and measure the effectiveness of internal communications and make recommendations for improvement based on feedback and data analysis.Maintain flexible availability and responsiveness both during and outside of normal office hours, as necessary. Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related field. 3+ years of proven experience in a Communications Specialist or similar role. Excellent writer and editor with highly strategic approach to messaging and communication channels.Responsible for a high volume of work while meeting tight deadlines with hyper attention to detail.Experience managing and maintaining internal communication tools is a plus (internal email platform, intranet, etc.)Unique storytelling experience.
