International Trade Compliance Associate Locations: Washington, DC; New Haven, CT Our client is seeking a mid-level associate to join their International Trade Compliance (ITC) practice in either their Washington, DC or New Haven, CT office. Ideal candidates will have 2-6 years of experience in trade compliance, with familiarity in the following areas:
International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)Export Administration Regulations (EAR)Foreign Assets Control (sanctions) regulationsCommittee on Foreign Investment in the U.S. (CFIUS) regulationsPreferred Qualifications: Experience in investigating and drafting voluntary disclosuresExperience in developing and implementing compliance policiesPrior in-house or government experience is a plusApplicants should possess excellent writing skills, a strong ability to work closely and extensively with clients, and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset. A good sense of humor is also highly valued.
