JOB SUMMARY:
Interns will support the ATI Interactives Design Team in ideation, development, and testing of interactive experiences for themed entertainment. Interns will gain hands-on experience working on active projects in the Creative Studio, as well as gain working knowledge of interactive and gaming applications in themed entertainment industry.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participates in brainstorming sessions.
Assists with development of prototypes in game engines and on paper.
Creates documentation for interactive experiences.
Designs and presents interactive program pitches.
Organizes interactive elements into digestible formats such as slideshows and spreadsheets.
Develops and assists with hosting interactive playtesting experiences with other Universal Team Members and/or guests.
Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:
In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Sophomore or above.
Recent graduates will not be eligible for this program.
Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
An official transcript may be required upon request.
Preferred majors include: Themed Entertainment Design, Game Design, Art.
Preferred coursework completed: Game Development, Theme Park Development.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Preferable skills for success in role include but not limited to:
Experience in interactive development (games, apps, themed entertainment, interactive theater) preferred.
Required experience in Unity/Unreal and Adobe Suite.
Experience in brainstorming/collaborative environments preferred.
Familiarity with modern game engines preferred.
Must be efficient in Microsoft Office Programs including, but not limited to: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities and organization.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Superior written & verbal communication skills.
Work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines.
Ability to work autonomously and/or in teams.
Consistent attendance.

This internship will be an in-person experience, based in our Orlando offices.
Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than April 2025.
Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
