RESPONSIBILITIES: Materials Handling:Manage all incoming freight and report discrepancies to buyer or take action to correct with vendorCollect, sign, and submit incoming packing slips and BOLStorage and Organization:Create and update minimum/maximum cards for all stock locationsSetup supply and raw material items in accounting softwareAnalyze current inventory layout and remove old/obsolete inventory to free up plant space for better organization of current inventoryEnsure all parts have designated locations at the plant which are correctly barcoded and labeledAdjust and maintain stock as neededMaintain clean and safe rackingReplenish point-of-use areas as defined by nightly stocking sheetsLiaison:Work with IT and Engineering teams to implement inventory trackingWork with Purchasing to verify exceptionsAssist with making transfer decisionsPerform count audits, assist with inventory countsAid line leaders in making ordering decisions, as neededCoordinate with similar teams at other plants to ensure material and supply parts are not duplicatedNote: Satisfactory background check and negative drug screen requiredJOB REQUIREMENTS: 2-5 years' experience in Supply Chain or Manufacturing role; inventory experience preferredExperience with Microsoft Office with proficiency in ExcelExcellent data entry and organizational skillsAttentive to detail and accuracyAbility to self-manageStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to lift 40+lbs independentlyProficient in EnglishSafety-sensitive position EDUCATION: Graduation from a standard high school, vocational school or equivalent is required
