What are we looking for At Stone Systems ( we are looking for an Inventory Manager for our Shop located in Minneapolis, who will have the opportunity to work in a multinational environment, in full expansion, surrounded by numerous challenging projects that you can be part of.
What you will do As an inventory Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Production department in safety, productivity, reports, maintenance reporting, and CAD jobs, as well as overseeing the flow of inventory into and out of the shop. This position is responsible for making sure that all processes are followed according to OSHA safety regulations.
Production


Manage daily safety inspections and logs Maintain daily production reports (i.e. cut and completed pieces) Maintain the brief and backlog by coordinating/obtaining material selections and approvals Follow up with Production Manager about employee hours, vacation, sick time, and overtime control Manage OSHA records Coordinate with supplier and customer to obtain material selections/approvals Order equipment for manufacturers and technicians Maintain equipment maintenance log and downtime reports Participate in both weekly production and weekly maintenance meetings Manage and maintain the daily cut schedule and production programming Assign jobs to machines Get templates and create CAD files Identify slab and scrap usage Assist with the installation schedule if needed Follow safety abatement plans Daily meetings with Production Manager and Customer Service Supervisor to review production results. Assist with monthly inventory counts including slabs and non-barcode inventory Produce the weekly report and include photos of the facility's cleanliness Assist the Production Manager in building equipment improvement projects Partner with the People Department to maintain office policies as necessary Inventory


Work with sales reps, customers, and other members of the shop, to determine upcoming inventory needs. Review daily DRP for order needs and place orders as required Audit of inventory reception for accuracy Audit inventory consumption daily for accuracy Audit shipments daily for accuracy Ensure all inventory is stored safely to reduce the risk of damage Compile inventory reports and issue them to management Present inventory overstock reports monthly to develop a plan for sales and reduction with the sales team. Track progress and recap monthly Monthly physical counting and scanning of all inventory Investigate inventory shortages and discrepancies Ensure proper short slab stock target 25% or more of total inventory Manager slow-moving and discontinued stock target of 5% or less of total inventory Other tasks as assigned by management

What you need to succeed Professional Experience
Required:
Minimum 2 years' experience working with production inventory process. 2-4 years administrative experience Knowledge
Required:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.) CAD Desired:
SAP Skills
Required:
Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs Strong organization skills Ability to work with minimal supervision Academical Background
Required:
High School Diploma/GED This job requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material, or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward.
