The Inventory Specialist position conducts warehouse activities to facilitate quality services and products to Peckham's internal and external customers. Daily cycle counts will be performed by this person and causative research conducted on missing product.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Initiate daily cycle count list - Daily Count inventory that can be counted during duty day - Daily Count active items after duty hours - Daily Work with Government staff to ensure accurate inventory - Daily Conduct causative research on missing product – As Needed Open and close building - As Needed Train and assist all team members - As Needed Treat all employees with dignity and respect - Daily Send billing data NLT the 3rd of each month - Monthly Secure warehouse against loss - Daily Inventory materials and equipment - As Needed Maintain SourceAmerica, CARF, and Michigan Occupational and Safety Health Association (MIOSHA) standards – Daily Promotes Peckham's vision, values, and services to all customers and stakeholders. Assists in maintaining organization wide quality standards. Maintains a safe and clean work environment. Assists in the training of people with disabilities, as needed. Other related duties as assigned - As Needed Supervisory Responsibilities Directly supervises team members assigned and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; and addressing complaints and resolving problems Minimum Requirements Must have reliable transportation to get between job locations Individual must also be able to gain and maintain the necessary security clearances U.S. Citizenship required due to security clearances Must have access to reliable transportation. Must maintain an unrestricted Michigan driver's license and possess a clear driving record (in accordance with company insurance policy) to drive the company vehicle. Warehouse Management System knowledge Forklift and reach truck knowledge EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE Associate's degree and/or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This is a warehouse environment and there will be occasions when it may be cooler in the winter and warmer in the summer months. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
