Inventory Supervisor – Ann Arbor, MIOverview: Are you a motivated Inventory Supervisor with a passion for optimizing processes? We are looking for a dedicated professional to lead our inventory management, order fulfillment, logistics, and procurement functions. In this role, you will play a critical role in improving customer satisfaction, maximizing efficiency, and controlling costs.Responsibilities:Production Planning: Create and manage production plans based on customer requirements to ensure timely delivery.Timely Order Delivery: Ensure on-time delivery of orders while maintaining high quality standards.Compliance and Safety: Maintain a safe and compliant work environment in all areas of operation.Capacity Evaluation: Assess plant capacity and address potential shortages to prevent disruptions.Inventory Control: Supervise inventory levels, maintain accurate tracking records, and optimize stock levels.Performance Analysis: Drive performance through data analysis and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).Continuous Enhancement: Lead projects focused on continuous improvement, including implementing best practices and lean principles.Effective Communication: Foster effective communication across shifts and departments to ensure smooth operations.Problem-Solving: Actively participate in problem-solving and contribute to project teams to resolve issues.Standard Procedures: Implement, evaluate, and uphold standardized work procedures.Team Growth: Train, develop, and assess team members to drive high performance and personal development.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in a related field.Experience: 2-5 years in inventory management, materials control, or production planning.Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Communication: Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities.Safety: Strong commitment to safety and adherence to regulations.Continuous Improvement: Enthusiasm for continuous improvement and implementation of lean manufacturing practices.Preferred Qualifications:Industry Experience: Experience in the automotive sector.Principles Knowledge: Familiarity with best-in-class (BIC) and total quality management (TQM) principles.Coaching: Proven ability to coach and develop team members.Join Our Team: If you are ready to make a significant impact in an exciting environment, we would be thrilled to receive your application.
