Job Brief Our Denver office is looking for an exceptionally talented individual at the Associate level for our Business Services & Industrials practice. Associates work on deal teams with direct exposure to clients and senior bankers. Associates are expected to handle a high level of responsibility in the execution of M&A and financing transactions. Our Associates embrace a fast-paced environment, a high-level of responsibility, and leadership in a team setting.
Responsibilities Individuals will be assigned a wide variety of projects and given as much responsibility as their experience and capabilities permit. Responsibilities include:
Planning, structuring and executing M&A transactionsInterfacing with clients as well as legal counsel to ensure transaction executionManaging deal teams and working with analysts to create confidential information memorandums, financial models, valuation analyses, and presentationsPreparing presentations and analyses under tight timelines used for client interactionsQualifications Exceptional work ethic, intellectual curiosity, leadership, and analytical aptitudePrior experience working as an analyst or associate within an investment bank or similar finance role is highly preferredDemonstrable transaction and managerial experienceStrong modeling and financial statement analysis skillsKnowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Capital IQ, Pitch Book, and other financial information toolsExcellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentBachelor's Degree requiredWe offer an exciting work environment with an entrepreneurial spirit.
