What is the Opportunity?

We are seeking a full-time, experienced and detail-oriented

INVESTMENT OPERATIONS ASSOCIATE

to work in a critical role focused on supporting the investment management and client service process. This position involves handling administrative tasks related to investments, client accounts, and compliance, ensuring efficient and accurate operational support for the firm's investment activities. The role includes trading securities and portfolio rebalancing. As an integral part of a successful team, you will have the opportunity to contribute and benefit from our team's success.

What Will You Do?

Investment Processing and Settlement:

Monitor Clients' Investment Allocations and provide updates to Financial Advisors.

Manage/Track client contributions, distributions, and cash balances. Trade client accounts as directed by Financial Advisors.

Account rebalancing.

Client Account Administration:

Support Financial Advisor in managing investment services for clients including trading and rebalancing.

Support Director of Client Services with client account service tasks with custodian Charles Schwab (Account Opening, Transfers, Money Movement, Wires), as needed.

Work closely with 3 rd

Party Investment Partners.

Portfolio Reporting:

Main point of contact with 3 rd

Party Performance Reporting Software Black Diamond.

Support Director of Client Services with client onboarding and transfers, as needed.

Private asset reporting and tracking.

Compliance and Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate records of client transactions and communications.

Assist in ensuring the firm's compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.

Internal Collaboration:

Development of investment analysis and proposals for prospects.

Assist Chief Compliance Officer with tasks, as needed.

Assist Financial Advisors with market research, as needed.

Will be cross-trained to answer phones and help clients with account administration questions.

What Do You Need to Succeed?

Must Have:

3+ years in the financial related service position (required).

Base level of investment and security knowledge equivalent to the series 7 and/or the series 66.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Collaborative team member with ability to take initiative and work independently.

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and multitask.

Ability to learn many systems/processes quickly; with proper training/instruction provided.

Confident and professional demeanor with clients, institutions, and colleagues.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Nice to Have:

Proficient understanding and experience working with alternative investments such as Private REITs, Credit and Equity.

Experience with Trading Securities, Stocks and Bonds.

Experience with Charles Schwab, Black Diamond, Smart X.

Undergrad degree.

Series 7 & 66 or other relevant Financial Designations.

Proficiency in investment management software.
