Position: LEAN Process Improvement Technician

Job location: Danbury, CT

Job employment Type: Direct Hire

Working Hours: First shift, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

income: $25-$30 per hour (located on practice)

Listing description As a LEAN Process Improvement Technician, you will play a vital function in enhancing efficiency, safety, and quality within our production areas. Your skills in LEAN processes will be utilized to design, build, and improve work areas while optimizing manufacturing processes. You will collaborate with employees to gather ideas and implement policies that positively impact safety, ergonomics, and overall efficiency.

LEAN Process Improvement Technician Key Responsibilities: »Utilize LEAN manufacturing principles to design and optimize work areas for all production processes.

»Work closely with employees to gather ideas and suggestions for continuous improvement initiatives.

»Implement policies and changes that positively impact safety, quality, and efficiency.

»Apply your strong mechanical skills to execute various tasks, including operating hand tools and machinery such as the horizontal and vertical band saw, drill press, and miter saw.

»Knowledge of LEAN and ergonomic concepts, particularly regarding reach, positioning, and placement of hand, wrist, and arm during assembly processes, is a definite plus.

»Accurately read and interpret basic written technical information and measurements using both metric and standard units.

LEAN Process Improvement Technician General Requirements: »Associates Degree OR High School Diploma along with 2 years of technical practice in a manufacturing environment.

»Demonstrated knowledge and practice in LEAN manufacturing principles and practices.

»Strong mechanical skills and the capability to operate various hand tools and machinery.

»Proficiency in reading and knowledge basic tape measurements using metric and standard units.

»Familiarity with basic written technical information and the capability to interpret it effectively.
