You will play a critical role in ensuring our systems operate smoothly, efficiently, and securely. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and maintain Linux-based systems in a high-availability data center environment. Perform system updates, patches, and upgrades. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues. Ensure data security, system backups, and disaster recovery. Assist with configuration and performance tuning of servers. Collaborate with senior engineers on complex troubleshooting and system optimization. Document system configurations, processes, and changes. Participate in a rotating shift schedule (1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts) to ensure 24/7 operational coverage. Work across 4 data centers within a 30-mile radius as needed. Requirements: Basic to intermediate Linux administration skills (RHEL, CentOS, or similar). Understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.). Willingness to work rotating shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays). Ability to work in multiple data centers within a 30-mile radius. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Self-motivated and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
