The Junior Project Manager (Operations) ("Jnr. Ops PM") will be in the Business Operations Division, reporting directly to the Deputy Chief Operations Officer ("D/COO"). The Jnr. Ops PM will be responsible for managing complex and comprehensive projects related to the integration of acquired companies from start to finish, which includes establishing rapport and working with the key stakeholders involved in coordination with the CEO and D/COO of KnowBe4. The Jnr. Ops PM also drives strategic initiatives that are key components of our Value Creation Plan ("VCP") being implemented as part of KnowBe4's recent acquisition by Vista Private Equity.
Responsibilities:
Develop, manage, and execute project plans for the integration of acquired companies, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to business operations, coordinated with the CEO and D/COO.
Serve as lead Project Manager for strategic initiatives outlined in the Value Creation Plan and Operations Division , working closely with various departments to ensure successful execution.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to align project goals with overall business objectives.
Monitor project progress, manage resources, and report regularly to the senior leadership and Steering Committee(s).
Facilitate effective communication between all project stakeholders, including executives, team members, and external partners.
Continuously evaluate and optimize project processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Ensuring all projects adhere to company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
2-4 years of relevant Program/Project Management experience
Experience with Gmail and Google Docs
Experience with Mac and Apple products
Experience with MS Office (Word and Excel)
Experience with Project Management tools, such as JIRA, MS Project, and Smartsheets.
Demonstrated ability to enlist support across functional teams within a matrix organization to obtain results.
Experience with software end-user change management strategy and execution.
PMP Certification Preferred
Strong project management skills with a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in mergers and acquisitions, particularly in post-acquisition integration processes.
A deep understanding of business operations and the ability to align projects with overall business strategy.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Working knowledge of common project management methodologies and their standards.
